Life is a Puzzle
Every turn is a new challenge on our emotion, on our ability to sympathise or empathise and i wonder where does one learn that or do we miraculous find it in us if we dig in deep enough....i wonder. And if we don't and just go on with our life uncaring of all the pain and difficuties that's shared with us, have we become emotionless being....The truth is; we can go on ignoring all that's going on around us, not to participate in it and the world still goes on, the ground has not open up to swallow us??

Life ends so easily....
Today i visited a sick friend in hospital and the same night we receive an sms that he's passed away.....Just last week he was standing in church sharing about his struggle with cancer and today he's gone....life seems so flimsy!!

Make Time for Friends & Life
i am so so tired....hence the CNY hols is looking so wonderful. Looking forward to having my ex CP friends over on the 3rd day of CNY for chit chat and makan. I am going to cook Sarawak Laksa...something i have been dieing to do for weeks. Had offered to cook it for the ladies in Agape but they were not interested.....I'm glad i will have appreciative friends. Love to cook but no one to feed is frustrating.....
We had an interesting week persuading a friend to join us, her reluctance was bringing her young son along as she finds it tiring keeping up with him. So she rather stay home then join us but i'm thankful we could persuade her to come....isn't it interesting that many would put their life on hold because we find it too exxhausting keeping up with our kids when we take them along anywhere. i'm glad that stephie was so easy to have along that we have been able to do anything, go any where with her from the day she was born....so much so, now we find that we would not go any where without her but things are slowly but surely changing. She now do not mind being left behind when i go out....i know i'm going to miss the little chicko when the string is complete untied. I hope it don't happen too soon.....
Isn't life interesting how it change from season to season..

A month has passed!
Wow, January has just passed. Now u can't call it a new year anymore....Last sunday workship in church was very interesting. A little brown mouse decided to join us in the worship causing a ruckus when it decided to run around under our chairs. i'm glad i just lift my legs when it passed by without screaming too much...Haha!!
Stephanie has taken an interest in baking bread after she learn about yeast in her Science class. Never thot that one could develop a liking for baking from science...Yeah Science!!!! Heard her teacher tries to makes learning science very interesting...Yeah Teachers :) who inspire young minds!!
Because of her interest i decided to dig out my cook book looking for bread recipe. Found one and i think i will bake bread this weekend..I remember how lovely it's to eat freshly baked bread. Gardenia don't even come close.

How Quickly 2010 Arrived and made its mark!!!
The christmas tree is still sitting in the corner and Chinese New Year ang pows are appearing on our tables to be filled and shopping malls are playing Chinese New Year songs....I never felt i properly welcome in 2010 and already i feel so much have happened in the first 22 days of the year.....Whilst i never believe in makingNew Year Resolution i feel that this year i must at least make this year one of having make some significant contribution to some cause or to some peoples' life.
SO much is happening in the world and even in our own backyard. Crime still continues, now i ask kakak & Stephie to set the alarm even in the day time as the break-ins are happening in the day time....on the news we read about the going-ons in the country which really saddens me. However if we trust the Lord we can trust that HE is in control even if we don'tunderstand the whys of it.....We just need to be available when HE needs us to serve others that need us to make sense of all this insanity that's going on in our country......
Today we are eating in - pork chops, mashed potatoes with mushroom sauce, garlicky french beans and mushroom soup...inspired by a new place we tried out 2 wks ago called Betty midwestern in Aman Suria...the ribs, butt pork cooked a few hours in beer was just incredibly delicious.....

Catching Up over Great Food
I'm amaze i never knew the place called My Elephant. A great place for thai food. It's a thursday night yet the restaurant was packed with overflowing customer willing to wait to get a table at 9pm.
Trust Jennifer, she always know where good food is located. I had a good time catching up with friends from my CP days. KWT was back with her boyfriend and we had a good time catching up over some delicious food. The salt bake fish was really unusual and taste great. We had mushroom salad, tongyam (slurp!! i clear the bowl) green curry and oyster egg, tho'' i didn'ttast any oyster it was still good.
From there we adjourne to another place called 9 to 10 nasi lemak (the nasi lemak was sold out) to continue our chit chat over some tea tarik. We felt bad for those customer who were still waiting. Anyway It's amazing hw time flies and us now all ex CP, and yet those days have built a bond that stays......even for those that did not come we still caught up over the emails as we planned for the dinner....
